PERAN BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA (BUMDESA) DALAM MENGEMBANGKAN AKTIVITAS EKONOMI (ACTIVITY ECONOMY) PRODUKTIF DAN SUMBER PENDAPATAN BARU (INCOME GENERATING) BAGI MASYARAKAT DESA SANGGU KABUPATEN BARITO SELATAN

The researcher aims to observe and analyze the role of Village-Owned
Enterprises (BUMDesa) programs in the development of productive economic
activities and new sources of income for the community in Sanggu village, South
Barito Regency.
This research is a qualitative descriptive research with a case study
strategy. Yin (2014), the purpose of case study research is not just to explain what
the object under study looks like, but how it exists and why the case occurs.
The results showed that Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDesa) play a role
in the participation of rural communities in the development of economic activities
through: 1) The role of BUMDesa through trading units that can accommodate the
production of the village community which is promoted through village shops. And
LPG suppliers for small / retail traders in the village help to make it easier for retail
traders to buy LPG directly to BUMDesa. 2) With the village market can
accommodate small traders in the village. 3) The waste management unit provides
services to the community in an effort to meet a clean, comfortable and orderly
village environment. 4) Advanced tourism economic activities make local villagers
sell around the tour and some maintain parking, selling souvenirs and souvenirs
typical of sanggu. 5) The more optimal the needs of the community can be met by
BUMDesa the economic welfare of the community and economic activity will
increase, with greater opportunities for self-development provided or facilitated by
BUMDesa, the welfare of the community will increase and optimize social problems
that can be managed by BUMDesa
